    About this Position / Responsibilities

    NFF has multiple openings for Sr. Account Managers focused on State, Local and High Education market to help expand our growth in the Washington, DC Metro Area The successful candidate will be responsible for selling enterprise technology solutions in the areas of Network Infrastructures, Data Center and Cloud, IT Security, Collaboration and Mobility, leveraging our strong reputation, customer satisfaction track records & past performances.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for selling enterprise IT Services and Solutions to State, Local and Education agencies in the District, Virginia and Maryland.
    • Accountable to all aspects of identifying, forecasting, and closing new opportunities within accounts and managing relationships at all levels.
    • Responsible for vertical account penetration, customer satisfaction, territory management, and sales growth for long-term results.
    • Develop and plan territory strategies and activities for accounts such as, selecting target accounts, map appropriate NFF services to accounts, identifying buyer influences, overcoming objections, introducing new services and making sales presentations.
    • Provide customer and competitor feedback to management.
    • Attend and participate in industry sales conferences and trade shows.
    • Responsible for meeting quotas, prospecting and selling with key partners, and maintaining and growing existing as well as establishing new accounts.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related field desired.
    • A minimum of 5-8 years of previous experience selling Information Technology Integrated Solutions, Outsourcing and/or Managed Consulting Services.
    • Strong knowledge of DC Metro IT Market and experience in building new relationships.
    • Previous State and Local selling experience preferred.
    • A proven track record of sales success at the Senior Executive level and building C-Level relationships.
    • Action-oriented, results-oriented, "take charge" attitude, with the capability of developing a strong business case for client actions and the skills to bring those actions to a close.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate remotely and travel as needed.

    Highly Desirable:

    • Previous experience with a networking solution provider.
    • Proven experience in marketing Cisco, NetApp, Riverbed, Splunk and other industry related products and solutions.
