    About this Position / Responsibilities

    Provide functional and technical support to the Operations & Maintenance team for the Rail Control Systems including SCADA Core Control. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for change management and developing a life cycle approach for automating manual rail systems using Jazz testing framework. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
    • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
    • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
    • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
    • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
    • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
    • Liaison with application development, operations, and project teams.

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • BS or BA degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of relevant QA technical and functional experience in an SCADA systems environment. 
    • Experience in the transportation, utility, power or water industry, ideally rail systems is desired. 
    • Experience with automating legacy systems using Jazz is desired.
    • Experience with agile environments.
    • Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.
      Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
