    About this Position / Responsibilities

    Our client, a Washington DC Government agency, is looking for a Full Stack/Ruby on Rails developer.  This position is ideal for a junior to mid-level candidate who is interested in working with a team to help fully develop skills and be exposed to more tools. This position will convert from a contractor to a full time employee with DC Government. Only candidates who can work without sponsorship should apply.  This is a cutting-edge agency, using the latest technology to deliver services to DC residents.


    • At least 3 years of Ruby on Rails development, exposure to MongoDC, and Design Patterns 

      Mongodb, GitHub, Jenkins, AWS, RSpec, Cucumber, Capybara, TDD, 

    • At least 4 years of solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.

      HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, RESTful Web Services

    • Preferrably working with Agile methodologies in a DevOps environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related, business-related, or healthcare-related field.
