About this Position / Responsibilities

Work Experience:

  • The  Division is seeking a Senior Mobility Endpoint Support Engineer with strong experience to serve as part of a Tier 2/3 organization.
  • The Board will only consider candidates who can work those designated hours.
  • The candidate should demonstrate strong technical knowledge and experience with cloud-based and on-prem Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) tools, Microsoft Intune, VMware WorkspaceOne UEM. Ability to engage with business and IT stakeholders, across multiple Platform to solve complex technology challenges.
  • Candidate should demonstrate system admin experience with VMWare WS1 UEM/AirWatch, and mobile device/application admin using MSFT Intune.

*** This contractor position will be in support of the End Point Computing Services team and the analyst who fills this position will be required to work a set schedule Monday – Friday, with hybrid work arrangements, a minimum of one day per week.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Level 1 network and VPN diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with: deploying, configuring, and supporting iOS devices in a client/server environment; and administration and management of mobile devices (MDM) and mobile applications (MAM) through on-prem and/or cloud/SaaS infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with scripting in PowerShell, Python, C++, Java-script, SQL, HTML 4 or Swift.
  • At least 7 years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience providing general desktop support with previous experience opening and maintaining support cases via BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or similar.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in supporting business enablement applications, such as Microsoft O365 product stack.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in with Mobile application development, mobile device management solutions such as Airwatch, Mobile Iron, Intune is a plus.
  • Experience with engineering PKI concepts and certificate integrations; hands on experience integrating SKD’s into mobile apps.
  • Excellent written and oral communications are required, as this position will interface with clients via phone and e-mail and in person. Demonstrated ability to concisely summarize and document client issues is required, including experience with creating and updating technical documentation.
  • 2 years minimum experience planning and executing activities using Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
  • Experience with managing headless Linux servers/navigating through Terminal.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills who can work with people at various levels of the organization.

 

*** BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field HIGHLY DESIRABLE

*** A+, MCDST, MTA, MOS, or similar certification is PREFERABLE This position may require occasional travel, weekend, and/or overtime work. Place of Performance: The Federal Reserve Board – hybrid work, onsite at Washington DC Metro Campus and Telework.
