About this Position / Responsibilities

NFF is looking for a Quickbase Senior Application Developer with proven professional experience in the design, development, delivery, and enhancement of Client-Server/Web-Based/Cloud-Based/Mobile Software Applications using the QuickBase Rapid Development Application.

The candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of business aligned IT services. Ensuring the application platform is of high quality, defects free and adheres to industry standards for development, testing and deployment methodologies.

 

Requirements: 

  • Must have experience with QuickBase Development
  • Hands on experience with any of the following is favorable:
    • Java
    • XML
    • HTML
    • JavaScript
    • BPEL
    • PHP
    • WebLogic
    • .NET/ASP/Visual C#
    • SQL Server
    • SQL/Procedural Language
  • Capable of design, develop and deploy applications that support users on the case and program management, especially with YSD Truancy QuickBase Application.
  • Provides mentorship and technical advice to a team of Application/Reports/Query developers
  • Capable of implementing programming standards that support a secure and defective free application
  • Interact daily with government clients to meet the technical requirements for new initiatives
  • Updates system and process documentation, produces user guides, ER diagrams, and SOPs as needed - Including Visio Network design drawings.

Qualifications

Required

  • Required 13+ years’ experience conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty
  • Required 13+ years’ experience preparing complex technical documentation
  • Required 11+ years’ experience in developing applications using Quickbase Application Development Platform
  • Required 11+ years’ experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., Cognos)/back-end programming languages (e.g. SQL)
  • Required 5+ years’ experience with any of the JIRA/Bugzilla/HP ALM tools
  • Required 7+ years' experience with Databases using ADO.NET
  • Required 15+ years’ experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies within a distributed (n-tier) architecture.
  • Required 7+ years’ experience understanding of QuickBase features, functionalities, and best practices.
  • Required 7+ years’ experience integrating with or utilizing Microsoft Power BI.
  • Required 7+ years’ proficiency in database concepts and data modeling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

Highly Desired 

  • Highly Desired 11+ years’ experience developing enterprise applications that interact with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
  • Highly desired strong ETL experience in Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence platforms
  • Highly desired 6+ years’ experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service Oriented Architecture
  • Highly desired 10+ years’ experience with Visual Studio 2010 and later versions with .Net Framework 2.0-4.6.2 with C# and VB
