About this Position / Responsibilities

NFF is seeking a full time Infrastructure Solution Architect.  The selected candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of supporting job functions in the Infrastructure Architecture team and cover Enterprise Information Systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as SME on wireless technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to lead full life cycle wireless projects from design to implementation.
  • 8+ years of wireless engineering experience
  • Ability to be on site for passive and active surveys

Qualifications

Required Skills: 

  • Proficient with WIFI design using Ekahau AI Pro or equivalent tools for outdoor and indoor environments
  • Proficient with wireless surveys using Ekahau Pro, Aircheck G3 or equivalent tool
  • Experience deploying WIFI using external Omni and directional antennas in indoor and outdoor areas
  • Experience deploying high density WIFI in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Deep understanding of 802.11ac/ax/be protocols
  • Deep understanding of WPA2 and WPA3 security standards
  • Deep understanding of security and access control protocols like 802.1X, RADIUS, EAP-TLS, PEAP
  • Proficient in WIFI packet capture and analysis skills using on site and remote tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills using on site survey, NMS, packet captures, controller logs
  • Understanding of Cisco’s Wireless products over the years
  • Deep understanding of Cisco 9800 Wireless controllers, Cisco Catalyst Center and WIFI6/6E/7 APs
  • Excellent at doing AP migrations between wireless controllers.
  • Working knowledge and strong understanding of LAN switching, routing protocols, DHCP, DNS
  • Familiarity with firewalls and strong understanding of access control servers like Cisco ISE
  • Certifications from Cisco or CWNP are preferred.
