About this Position / Responsibilities

  • Provide daily functional support to end users in accounting and finance departments across a range of PeopleSoft Financials modules (GL, AP, BI, AR, AM, PC).
  • Lead and support the configuration, testing, and implementation of changes in multiple PeopleSoft modules to meet business requirements.
  • Assist in month-end General Ledger (GL) close processes, including:
    o Running and analyzing allocations.
    o Supporting the generation and distribution of financial reports using nVision.
  • Develop and execute complex ad-hoc queries using the PeopleSoft Query tool to support transactional and financial data analysis for business users.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system issues and ensure integration points function as expected.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in the documentation of business processes, configurations, and system modifications.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience supporting end users in an accounting or finance department.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting multiple PeopleSoft Financials modules, including GL, AP, BI, AR, AM, and PC.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with financial data analysis.
  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Query for creating and managing complex queries.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting month-end close processes in a PeopleSoft environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft 9.1.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and reporting tools (e.g., nVision, PS Query, Excel, BI Publisher).
