About this Position / Responsibilities

NFF is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who is experienced with mobile devices running business applications, supporting financial applications and managing project costs associated with mobile device management.

 

Position requires knowledge and experience working with business applications supporting financial operations, managing project costs, developing earned value monthly project reports, issuing vendor invoices, daily internal and external cost tracking, and monthly reconciliations of all external communication costs. 

We are looking for a Business Analyst  that align with the outlined responsibilities and include experience with MaaS360, as well as iPhone and Android device operations.


We’re specifically looking for candidates with mobility and MDM-related knowledge under the Business Analyst title.

 

Core Responsibilities

Mobility Lifecycle Oversight

  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end mobile device lifecycle (request → procurement → provisioning → reassignment → decommissioning → surplus).
  • Document and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Identify process gaps and implement controls.
  • Maintain lifecycle compliance metrics.

Carrier & Telecom Business Management

  • Manage business relationships with wireless carriers (Verizon, AT&T, etc.).
  • Analyze monthly billing and perform reconciliation.
  • Identify zero-usage lines and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Track service activations, suspensions, porting, and plan changes.
  • Coordinate escalations and SLA adherence.

MDM Governance & Compliance

  • Support MDM policy governance and change control processes.
  • Analyze compliance dashboards and reporting metrics.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity approval workflows for mobile applications.
  • Monitor enrollment accuracy and policy adherence.
  • Support audit documentation and regulatory readiness.

Device Distribution & Asset Coordination

  • Coordinate device procurement and inventory intake.
  • Ensure asset tagging and system-of-record accuracy.
  • Facilitate formal handoff between Inventory and MDM teams.
  • Track device assignment and refresh cycles.
  • Support executive and priority device handling processes.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop mobility performance dashboards (SLA, compliance, aging tickets).
  • Conduct cost analysis and forecasting for device refresh programs.
  • Analyze usage trends and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as liaison between Mobility, Cybersecurity, Finance, Service Desk, and Inventory.
  • Lead mobility process review meetings.
  • Support change management communications.
  • Align operational practices with organizational policy.

Qualifications

  • 7 Years Developing and manage project budgets for all technology projects
  • 7 Years Developing pro-forma invoices for all cost reimbursable projects and monthly Financial Summary Reports
  • 7 Years Interfacing with internal accounting departments to ensure proper budgets are used, accounting codes are current and update to date
  • 7 Years Developing processes to obtain timely project cost information from accounting systems
  • 7 Years Strong client skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization
  • 7 Years Proficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications
  • 7 Years IBM MaaS360, Microsoft Office 365/10, Microsoft Exchange, Windows10 Enterprise, Active Directory, SMS/SCCM, Citrix, SharePoint, Remotely Anywhere, Dam
  • 7 Years Conducts research for mobile device equipment, accessories, and airtime services. Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with mobile devices.
  • 7 Years Configure, test, and support mobile devices (air cards, cell phones, smartphones, tablets) Test iOS (iPhone Operating System) and Android releases
