About this Position / Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary SME for Maximo 9.x, including configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and patches within the Maximo environment.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Maximo solutions.
  • Configure applications, workflows, automation scripts, and security groups.
  • Integrate Maximo with external systems such as Windchill and Fleetwatch.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions.
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to improve asset lifecycle management.
  • Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure optimal system usage.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Maximo, including Maximo 9.x.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes.
  • Experience with system configuration, workflows, and automation scripting in Maximo.
  • Proven experience integrating Maximo with enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with Windchill (PLM system) and Fleetwatch (fleet management system).
  • Strong SQL and database knowledge (e.g., Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server).
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and integration frameworks (e.g., REST, SOAP, MIF).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Maximo certifications (e.g., IBM Maximo Functional or Technical Certification).
  • Experience with cloud or hybrid deployments of Maximo.
  • Knowledge of Java, scripting languages, or automation frameworks.
  • Experience in industries such as utilities, transportation, manufacturing, or government.
  • Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
