About this Position / Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping System Support Team, which includes configuration/development, help desk, reporting, and business analyst resources.
  • Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of UKG/Telestaff applications.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Translate relevant application/system configuration to respective users, IT staff, and IT.
  • Prepare requirements documents and report mockups.
  • Design and develop PeopleSoft financial applications that meet the needs of the business.
  • Develop complex queries for reporting purposes.
  • Create functional design diagrams and present proposed solutions in the form of design reviews.
  • Work with other functional analysts and developers to determine the best technical approach.
  • Troubleshoot functional or business process issues related to applications and systems.
  • Work with the software vendor (UKG) on resolution of issues with delivered functionality.
  • Configure or reconfigure in‑house tools for administration purposes or to support business processes.
  • Learn new functionality and features of in‑house tools as new versions are released and educate the user community.
  • Lead the testing and debugging of PeopleSoft financial applications.
  • Document UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping applications and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to users of UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping applications.
  • Develop training materials.
  • Provide status reporting of work in progress to management
  • Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years of additional applicable experience.
  • Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills and experience in the UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping technology platform.
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate their skills in UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping System configuration/development, testing, and implementation. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Functional experience using e‑business software products such as UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping that includes product configuration, requirements gathering, and developing training materials.
  • Functional experience using e‑business software products such as PeopleSoft that includes product configuration, requirements gathering, and developing training materials.
  • Experience with databases such as ORACLE, SQL Server, SYBASE, INFORMIX, and DB2.
  • 3+ years of experience in UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping development.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading and managing projects.
  • Strong understanding of UKG/Telestaff Timekeeping technology.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience in working with third‑party systems.
  • Experience in cloud‑based ERP deployments.
  • 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM integration and development.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing projects.
